Purple Fountain

Wandering alone in cemeteries
With an apple in her hand
Red apple
Wondering
Walking among the graves
Among the purple fountains – one fountain
Weird music
Weird silence
Let me sway
She kept walking
Scared
She crossed over the street
Still the same silence
Voices
Where is everybody?
She wanted to give someone the apple
But there was no one around
She didn’t want it
It looked delicious
But she didn’t want it
All she wanted to do was jump in the fountain
Be a kid
Be a woman
Be both
Only one person could make that happen
Take a deep breath and dive
Stay under water
